Mitchel Point in the Columbia River Gorge had been closed for several years. Just opened back up last year. The tunnels down at the bottom give you great views, but they are nothing compared to the peak. Less than two miles up and back, but a good 1,000 foot climb.

Map
The sky was hazy and the trail was short, so I didn't get as much content as my normal adventures.
I nearly made it to the top... It was the end of the day for me and I wasn't feeling I had the balance to go all the way... got some great views still.
Story
After climbing back down off the short, yet steep, mountain; I decided to go to the tunnel. It was getting dark and I had a lot of flashlights with me. Great time (and place!) to do some product test videos. Flashlights in a dark tunnel! Look for those videos on my gear page (coming soon!)
